Using the organisational change process of 'freeze, unfreeze, freeze' as the basis for our approach to undertaking Verve Associates marketing communications, Opening Doors envisaged a branding concept that married this process with the unique 'IN-Source' approach Verve Associates take to its clients.

As a firm of Change Management Consultants, Verve promotes the notion that change is the only constant and that any successful organisational change initiative requires teamwork, vision, and courage. To convey this to customers in an accessible and understandable manner, Opening Doors used the theme and imagery of a bobsleigh team, adorned in the corporate colours of Verve Associates as the consistent theme throughout all of the marketing communications.

We felt this approach complemented and paralleled the field of work Verve are involved with, together with Verve's ideals as 'allies of change'. The bobsleigh theme also provided a unique way to explain Verve's 'IN-Source Lifecycle' services; with the sections of the ice track representing the various elements of the change lifecycle from start to finish. Importantly, all of these meanings were contained within a highly professional, attractive and contemporary visual style that runs throughout the web site, brochures and corporate materials.

As part of the Integrated approach, Opening Doors also undertook a Direct Marketing campaign for Verve that again used the 'freeze, unfreeze, freeze' concept as inspiration. Recognising that such a theory is widely known in business, Opening Doors created a Mail-out that included within it a plastic ice cube, together with the new corporate literature in an attempt to raise awareness and break the ice in an innovative way.
