Cogent-SSC the Sector Skills Council for the Chemical, Nuclear, Oil and Gas, Chemicals Petroleum and Polymer industries has appointed Opening Doors to act as an external marketing services consultancy.

Opening Doors will be responsible for maintaining the data integrity of the SSC's membership as well as fulfilment amongst a broad range of marketing activities contracted for.

Mervin Dadd External Affairs and Communications Director commented on the appointment of Opening Doors: "We were impressed by their approach and overall understanding of our needs, and by the processes, outcomes and potential development that was suggested. Opening Doors' costs were reasonable and the work involved was easy to understand. The other element that is always hard to quantify is the feeling one gets about a company and its staff, and the notion that they could become an extended part of the company "family".
